“We know that people don’t find content that’s created to get clicks rather than inform their readers useful. So starting next week, we’re rolling out a number of improvements to Search for English-speaking users around the world to make it easier for them to find useful content created by people for people.”
On the same day, an article appeared on Search Engine Land in which Barry Schwartz announced that Google would launch a search algorithm update that "could be one of the most significant changes in the last decade,"
"The helpful content update will target sites with sri lanka email list a relatively high amount of unsatisfactory or unhelpful content that was written for search engines, not for people."
"Unlike many of Google's algorithms, which apply to individual pages of a website, this new helpful content update will apply to the entire site. This means that if Google finds that your site is producing a relatively large amount of unhelpful content that is written primarily for search rankings, it will impact your entire site."
It is worth noting that, according to a poll created on August 18, 2022 on the X network by Spanish SEO consultant Aleyda Solis, 44.1% of people thought their content was useful .
