Zoom . In just a few months, the famous video calling application has skyrocketed to infinity and beyond in a market (once based on a rather small niche) that has experienced a real "boom" as a result of the hidden restrictions due to the coronavirus.

Although Zoom's business model includes paid plans, whose customers are the ones that fill the company's coffers, it seems that the company also wants to take advantage of those who use the free version of its app (which are many) by inserting ads.

The company stresses, however, that it will not collect information about the content of video calls or the messages exchanged during them for promotional purposes or to display third-party advertising.

By integrating ads at the end of meetings, Zoom wants them to be as non-intrusive as possible for the user. “We have carefully considered how to implement this advertising pilot program, and we have done so with the aim of ensuring user choice.
