Happy Entrepreneurs: the value of Friends, personal and professional balance of the entrepreneur

Post by mstajminakter16 »

Yesterday we celebrated Friendship Day , and I don't want to miss the opportunity to reflect on how crucial #friends are in the #lives of #entrepreneurs .

Entrepreneurship is a difficult and demanding path that, on many occasions, can consume all our time and energy.

After 24 years in the world of entrepreneurship , I can say that friendships are an essential pillar in what I consider the true indicator of an entrepreneur's success: the level of happiness .

The importance of friends in the life of an entrepreneur
Friendships play a fundamental role in anyone's life, but for entrepreneurs, their importance is magnified. Here are some reasons why I consider my friends to be essential in my life:

Emotional support: Friends are there to offer a shoulder to lean on during difficult times. They are also there to share in the joy.

Disconnection: Meeting with friends allows you to disconnect from work and recharge your batteries. Or the other way around, connecting with friends to disconnect from everyday life.

Advice: Friends, especially those with experience, can offer valuable advice and el-salvador mobile phone numbers database perspectives.

These elements not only enrich personal life, but also have a direct impact on professional life.

Below, I will delve into each of these points to show how friendships have been a pillar in my life as an entrepreneur.

The value of emotional support
Entrepreneurship is an emotional roller coaster. There are days when everything seems to be going well and others when things fall apart. In those moments, the emotional support of friends is invaluable. My lifelong friends, like “Los Changos” of rugby, have been a constant source of joy and support. With them I shared and continue to share some of the most fun moments of my life.

Yesterday, for example, we celebrated with a 12-hour meeting and two barbecues. We laughed until we cried, and although we don’t talk about startups much, those meetings are essential to my emotional well-being. Sometimes, I just need the company and brotherly love they offer.

Also, my old friends, like Francisco Berdaguer, are always there for me. I miss our dear friend Carlos Navelino a lot. I have also been lucky enough to have amazing friends/mentors like Pablo Saubidet, Santiago Pinto, and more recently Gaston Remy and Pedro E. Suarez. Although our relationships are more recent, the depth of our connections is amazing, and I know I can count on them for everything.
