How to use Cliffhangers?

Post by sakib40 »

To learn how to use cliffhangers, we'll look at the parts that make up the structure of any narrative.

Introduction
The introduction is the general presentation of the characters and the mom database plot. It is the story before the protagonists appear in the story.

Development or Knot
In this stage, the action begins. The characters find themselves involved in hostile situations. Here, the character's moral or physical evolution develops, as they seek a way to solve the problem and return to normalcy.

Climax
The climax is part of the narrative's development. In this phase, the conflict presented reaches its maximum expression and resolution, which can be positive or negative. The climax is the key to the ultimate cliffhanger: it must be true and logical, and must adhere to cause-and-effect relationships with the preceding events.

At this stage, there's no turning back: the climax must resolve the question posed at the beginning of the plot and developed throughout the story. It's the narrative's most critical point and where the audience's tension is most intense.

The cliffhanger has to be a narrative component that implies an unresolved change of direction in the story, leaving the action unfinished to be resumed later (after a break, in the next episode, in the next season, etc.).
