Create one Google Ads campaign per data source

Post by rUparaHmaN012 »

Now that you have several different product sources connected to Merchant Center (each targeting the same products, but with different names and descriptions), you'll need to create three standard Shopping campaigns in Google Ads . We're assuming that your Google Ads and Merchant Center accounts are already linked and that you're experienced in building standard Shopping campaigns.

Let's create the following three standard indonesia phone number data Shopping campaigns in Google Ads (we want the names to match the sources in Google Merchant Center):
• Shopping - [Brand] Product Channel A
• Shopping - [Brand] Product Channel B
• Shopping - [Brand] Product Channel C

We'll separate these campaigns from each other using negative keyword lists .

Our intention is to run ads only in the Google Ads campaign with the same name for each product source.
In order to match each campaign to the corresponding source, we need to set negative keywords in each campaign using terms from the other two campaigns. Use exact match for negative keywords, as different campaigns may have similar terms in different forms, etc.

Step 5: Launch campaigns and track search terms
First, run all three campaigns simultaneously; make sure the maximum CPC and other settings are the same (so it’s a true A/B/C test). Also, monitor your search query reports every day – you need to verify that your negative keyword lists are actually serving their purpose and preventing most overlap. Once you see that one campaign is outperforming the others, or if you notice that one campaign isn’t getting as many impressions because it’s targeting keywords with more competition, you can start adjusting the CPC as needed.
