Shine Muscat is one of the grape varieties that sells for its weight in gold. A bunch of grapes in Europe, for example, can reach a price of 62 euros.

Shine Muscat is distinguished primarily by its size: one grape oman mobile database can reach 3-5 centimeters in diameter. The skin of the grapes is thin, it is almost impossible to separate it from the pulp. At the same time, the grapes themselves are very crunchy, which many bloggers on TikTok liked so much. Shine Muscat has no seeds, and the pulp is dense, juicy and very watery.

In terms of taste, this variety has a nutmeg aroma (hence the name) and a sweet, refreshing taste similar to mango.

Shine Muscat was developed in Japan at the Grape Research Center of the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences in Hiroshima Prefecture.

The Shine Muscat variety is based on two other varieties: Muscat of Alexandria (but it is not suitable for growing in Japan, although it tastes great) and the American variety Steuben (it is tasteless, but has a thick skin and is easily grown in Japan). As a result of crossing, the Akitsu No. 21 variety was bred. It had large fruits and quite sweet berries. But it had a very unpleasant smell. Therefore, breeders continued their work and crossed it with Hakunan grapes. As a result, they got perfection itself - large crispy fruits, excellent taste and pleasant smell. Initially, it was called Akitsu No. 23, but was later renamed Shine Muscat.
