New for 2025

Post by jrineakter »

Hello, my dear friends! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for joining me for this new episode of Marchez Avec Johan in which we talk about different subjects, often focused on personal development. And I take advantage of my walks on different paths to share with you a certain number of thoughts, with the obvious objective that you access authentic content in French. It's as if we were both walking and I'm speaking to you via this microphone in the same way that I would speak to you if you were walking with me.

Today, we're going to talk a little bit about the year 2025 and a number of projects. There's a dog. Oh, it's a big dog. I'm glad he's on the other side of the fence. He's a beautiful Labrador. Well, he doesn't seem mean, but hey, he heard me walk past his house. It's a path that I don't walk often, that I don't know very well. I hope we won't be bothered by the noise. I see over there a small... a sort of small... yeah, a shed. Well, anyway, here we are, walking together. That's the main thing.

At the end of this year, of course, I take the time to review everything we have been able to do during these long months spent together within Français Authentique. And I was talking about it… So, I don't know if you participated in the summit, the great Français Authentique summit, which took place from November 14 to 17, but in one of my conferences, I spoke to you about the fact that I tried to act on a daily basis according to my vision and my priorities. Because often, in fact, the problem is that we have big priorities, we have a big vision, but we forget it, we don't act on it on a daily basis. And the best way to act on your mission, on your priorities, on a daily basis is simply to take the time to do reviews.

So, I have a whole bunch of journals. We're not going to go into detail today. Every day, I do a little review of my day. It's something mental, I don't necessarily do it in writing, but I reflect in iraq whatsapp number data the evening on the accomplishments of my day. Every week, I have a weekly review. I also have a monthly review, a quarterly review and an annual review.

I like to take time, especially at the end of the year, to go away. I usually leave my family for a few days and I go on a personal retreat and I reflect. It's a time that I love, actually, because it's a time of calm, of reflection, of thought. So, I read a lot, I really isolate myself, I try to be as isolated as possible. These are moments of introspection. It means that I reflect on my life, on myself, on my way of working, of being a dad, of being a husband, of being a son. 'In the end, I really try to improve myself in all areas.

And I took time or I take time each time to look at what works best with the Authentic French audience, so, what helps the members the most, and the things that help them maybe a little less. So, that's what I try to do regularly, by taking a step back, because it's not useful to look week after week at what the audience wants, because there's a kind of background noise, and it's better to wait a fairly long period to see what helps the audience the most.

So, of course, it's difficult because those who follow Authentic French have different levels, have different expectations, have different tastes, have different desires. So, it's always quite complex in the end to succeed in determining exactly what you like, what you like less. But of course, it's always useful to do it and to classify into different categories.

So, I've already thought a lot about what we're going to do in 2025. I also asked you via a survey. I also often talk to the members of the Académie Français Authentique. And for the year 2025, I obviously intend to propose a certain number of things that I'll tell you about right after, but I don't want to revolutionize everything either because Français Authentique has existed since 2011, so we're still among the old hands in the field of online French teaching. And even if there are a lot of people who have arrived and are doing things similar to what we do at Français Authentique, especially after Covid. Covid has opened the door to a lot of creators. So, that's positive because it pushes us to do our best. We don't want to stay in our comfort zone, so we do our best to improve. This competition is healthy.

But the risk is sometimes to spread yourself too thin and lose coherence, to propose things that are no longer 100% coherent. And that's perhaps a small mistake I made in 2024 by doing too many tests. I really tried different concepts on the YouTube channel, including different concepts, saying to myself: "Hey, we're going to try to innovate, to propose interesting things". And I did it in two ways. I kept our classic videos, the Français Authentique videos that I've been offering since 2011, but we tried to innovate, to propose different concepts. And I did it without much logic, coherence. I said to myself: "Come on, let's try lots of different things to see what the audience likes". And by doing that, sometimes you end up not really knowing what was most popular, because sometimes, content is not enough to realize it.
