Writing tip #17: Break the grammar

Post by Mitu100@ »

Writing tip #15: Use tools.
Always have a dictionary or a dictionary to hand when you write. Or even better: use a checklist. I have 11 points that I tick off for every blog article. Looking things up is not a bad thing. Writing with mistakes is bad.

Writing tip #16: Learn the grammar.
That sounds boring. Sorry. But you should at least know the basic rules of grammar. You don't have to do any word acrobatics, just write correctly so that people can understand you. Want an australia phone number list example? Commas save lives: Come on, let's eat, Grandpa. Or: Come on, let's eat, Grandpa. You decide.

If you have mastered the rules of the language, then you can break them intentionally. I emphasize intentionally. Too many writers make grammatical errors by accident.
