If you suspect that someone is artificially inflating review likes on positive or negative reviews, Twitter Google representative suggests flagging the review. So, this is a step you can take, although I don't have much confidence in Google taking such steps. But, you can try.
How big a priority should
In the grand scheme of things, I would put it low on the scale argentina number data of local search marketing initiatives. As I mentioned, I had only taken a cursory look at this function in the past few years until I was confronted with the fact that people were trying to spam their way into buying the glory with it.

If reputation is a key focus for your brand (and it should be!), I would invest more resources in creating great in-store experiences, review and management, and sentiment analysis than worrying too much about those little thumbs ups. But, if you have some time to spare for a deeper dive, it would be interesting to see if you can analyze why certain types of reviews for your brand get likes and if there’s anything you can do to build on that. I can also see positive reviewers rewarding you with likes for their good feedback, if for no other reason than as a sign of engagement.
