Three Workouts for Your Conceptual Creativity
mind maps
Especially if you have never worked with mind maps before, you will be surprised at how easy it is to develop new concepts with them. The free form, especially if you are working on a piece of paper and not in an app, makes it easy to integrate secondary ideas that you would not have written down if you were writing a list because you simply did not know where to insert this point. I have also already france telegram screening written something about mind maps for planning and structuring your blog articles .

This exercise is great if you want to brainstorm with yourself or discover a hidden pattern. Inspired by the " murder boards " in American crime novels, I developed the following method for myself:

I like to use a pad of sticky notes and a whiteboard for this. When I want to create a new concept, I write every single thought on a Post-It note. I stick the notes randomly on the whiteboard. Here, too, I set myself a goal, for example as many ideas as there are notes left in the pad. Or at least 20 notes. Or at least 20 minutes of collecting ideas before I give up. Once the target has been reached, I look at all the notes and try to group them. What belongs together, which thoughts are similar, which ideas are perhaps connected sequentially? Then I hang the notes accordingly and circle them with a whiteboard marker, establishing connections with lines and arrows. This is fun and allows a concept to emerge very quickly.
