The first smart bracelets were developed

Some smart devices are helping people who suffer from nightmares, including those caused by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), to sleep better . The watches analyze body movements and heart rate, which can detect when a person is having a nightmare and start vibrating.

The number of functions of smartwatches is growing — but they are more often used to view notifications and track physical activity. The medical benefits of such devices often raise questions — among both buyers and researchers.

A 2018 survey reveals which smartwatch features are most malta number data frequently used.

How smart bracelets work and how accurate are the measurements?
Trackers are usually worn on the wrist. They measure indicators using built-in sensors, and you can track your progress on the watch and in the application on your smartphone. The accuracy of the trackers depends on the algorithm laid down by the manufacturer and the actions of the owner.

Pulse measurement
Smartwatches measure heart rate using a method called photoplethysmography. Light emitted from sensors in the watch hits the skin, most of it is absorbed by body tissues, and the rest is reflected.

Thanks to the green LEDs, the watch can measure the volume of blood passing through the wrist at any given time. Blood is red, so it reflects red and absorbs green light. When the heart beats, blood flow in the wrist increases, and with it the volume of green light absorbed. In the period between beats, on the contrary, it decreases. So thanks to the LEDs, the watch can measure the number of heartbeats per minute, that is, the pulse.
