Optimize the meta description

Post by rochon.a1.119 »

Here's what you need to keep in mind when writing your H1 title:

Create a unique H1 . This will help prevent visitors from getting confused between similar pages on your site.

Use words similar to “how,” “why,” “what,” and “where .” This helps people understand what they’ll find on the page—how-to guides and articles also generate twice as much traffic compared to other types.

Use numbers like 'Top 10', 'Top 5', 'X things...', etc. Articles with listicle headlines get 2x more traffic and 2x more social shares than other types.

Describe what the body text is about. The H1 of the page should describe the content. Otherwise, Google considers the discrepancy as low quality content .
The Topic Research tool can help you quickly find the most resonant headlines. After entering a topic, you'll instantly see popular headlines that have the most backlinks and social media engagement.

The meta description is what users see below your page title in armenia mobile database Google results. It can be the perfect way to encourage a user to click on your link instead of the other options.

Gary Illyes, a specialist on Google's search team, describes some of the most common problems with meta descriptions:

"Because meta descriptions are usually only visible to search engines or other software, webmasters sometimes forget about them and leave them completely empty. It's also common, for the same reason, for the same meta description to be used on multiple (and sometimes many) pages. On the other hand, it's relatively common for the description to be completely off-topic, of low quality, or spammy. These issues worsen the search experience for our users, so we prefer to ignore these meta descriptions."

To properly optimize the meta description, there are 5 basic rules:

Make sure every page on your site has a meta description, and create descriptions that accurately explain the specific page.
