Instagram is the app that Brazilians spend the most time on throughout the day. According to a survey, this happened for the first time, as 35% of Brazilians said they spend most of their time on their cell phones on the social network that is known for its photos.
The finding is in the Panorama Mobile Time/Opinion Box, which was released this Tuesday (20) and checks the use of apps in Brazil. In second place among the apps that people use most on a daily basis is WhatsApp, previously the first place in this category.
Instagram is the absolute highlight when it comes to social platforms, being installed on 92% of Brazilian smartphones. It is ahead of Facebook (85%) and TikTok (41%).
In terms of gender and age, Mark Zuckerberg's photo-sharing qatar whatsapp data social network is installed on 95% of Brazilian women's cell phones and 88% of men's cell phones. Taking into account age group, the platform is most popular among young people aged 16 to 29 (95%) and least popular among people over 50 (86%).

The popular “Zap” also leads the category of applications with the most presence on the home screen of mobile devices. 54% of Brazilians have the messenger pinned to the home screen, which puts it ahead of Instagram (46%) and Facebook (34%).
Brazilians are so passionate about WhatsApp that 48% of those interviewed said that if they had to choose just one software to keep on their cell phones, they would choose the green app.
