Basic steps of GA4 exploration report

We will explain the steps to set up a GA4 exploration report using a free-form template that is commonly used.

1. Choose a template

In the template gallery, click on the "Free form" template.
The customization screen appears on the left side of the screen, and the report appears on the right.



2. Set "Variables"


Next, set the variables.

After changing the report format or graph style, drag and drop the items you want to display in the report to "Rows," "Columns," "Values," or "Segment Comparison."
