Who is responsible?

Post by Bappy10 »

Take it easy, haste makes waste.
Choose the right location, don't go to places where you would also go with your partner or where you might meet acquaintances.
Make sure you can always account for where you were, details help.
Be careful online, keep the two worlds separate.
Search outside your circle of acquaintances, so no neighbors or colleagues.
Prevent digital lipstick.
Pay cash as much as possible in hotels and restaurants.
Set boundaries, how do you communicate, when and in which medium.
Find someone who wants the same thing as you to avoid differing expectations.
Use your common sense: play it safe and find someone you can trust who understands it is an affair.
What should you do with it?
I asked Noel if he’s ever been taken to court for breaking up a marriage. “No, thankfully not. I don’t push people to have affairs, they do it themselves.” Contrary to the famous Hairclub infomercials (“ I am not only the president of the company, I am also a client ”), Biderman is not a user of his own service. He is happily married with two children, as his bio states.

Sites like Ashley Madison attract attention, that's for sure. The SGP even asked parliamentary questions about the competitor , wrote an opinion piece in the Volkskrant and SGP youth filed a complaint with the Advertising Code Foundation. Result? From the answer of the State Secretary:

“[…] in the opinion of the Cabinet, relationships and relationship formation are sri lanka mobile phone number list part of the private domain of individual citizens […]”

“You can have an opinion about the site, for example finding it morally reprehensible, cheap or maybe fine that such a site exists. Whatever you think, that is your opinion. Everyone is responsible for his or her own actions, the choice to use the services or not is entirely up to you.

Banning such sites will not work and, even if it were successful, it will have little impact on cheating behavior, after all, it has always been around, with and without the internet.”

Another point of Noel's reasoning: does Ashley Madison save marriages? Again, it could and it could very well not. I can imagine both answers, but due to the lack of data, this statement cannot actually be checked.

Will it also be a success in the Netherlands?
From a business perspective, Biderman has developed a platform where people who want an affair can meet other people who want it too. Judging by the success of Ashley Madison (and other sites), there is a demand for it. Whether the Netherlands will be as successful as the Australian site, time will tell.
