What is your dream job?

Post by Bappy10 »

Since its founding in 2003, LinkedIn has developed into the most important social medium for supporting both business and career goals. A platform, rich in many functionalities, that is continuously developing based on the demands and needs of the intended target groups.

Finding a job, customer or employee
There are now 260 million LinkedIn profiles of people from over 200 countries and the platform is available in 20 languages. The Netherlands now has over 4 million profiles. Not bad for such a small country. So whether you are looking for a new job, a new employee or a new customer: there is a good chance that the person you want to get in touch with is among these 4 million profiles. That comes in handy in times of high unemployment.

Since this summer, the UWV has been encouraging registered job seekers via panama mobile phone number list their website werk.nl to actively use social media as a means to find a new job. Under the heading Online training – find a job with social media , there are a number of video instructions on the site that explain to job seekers how to best profile themselves on the various social channels. LinkedIn plays a prominent role in this training – not surprisingly.

I'm looking for a job!
“Recent research shows that 55% of Dutch companies use social professional networks like Linkedin to recruit talent,” says Lena Olivier , business leader at LinkedIn. “This enables them to recruit much more proactively than before.”

Having such a profile has become essential for job seekers. In order to stand out from the many other possible candidates, filling out your profile as completely and relevantly as possible is very important. But there are already so many LinkedIn profiles, so how do you make sure that yours stands out?

While employers in the Netherlands have been gradually improving in recent years to show who they are and what they have to offer on the internet, job seekers are clearly lagging behind. Job seekers' profiles are generally not always filled in conveniently, making the profile impossible to find using professional keywords that confirm the job seeker's specialism and experience. That makes it a difficult task for recruiters to find the right man/woman for the right job.
