This Saturday one of the most anticipated events for the younger public took place: Tubecon 2017 , a meeting with the most famous YouTubers in our country that was held at the Wizink Center with a huge influx of people.

With more than 200 creators, 100 activities including workshops and all kinds of entertainment, this platform born in Scandinavia has arrived in Spain to show the reality of the YouTube community like never before and to be the showcase of the reality and diversity of this phenomenon.

To understand the essence of this event, we had the opportunity to listen to Pablo Romero , executive producer of Tubecon Spain, who points out that this celebration is an opportunity to make a statement and say "here is the culture of digital entertainment."

The history of this convention dates back to 2004 when its first edition was held in Scandinavia and brought together between 4,000 and 5,000 people. The event has gradually grown until it currently has more than 19,000 attendees.

With this previous success, Tubecon lands in our country with the desire to bring the stars of the network a little closer not only to their followers but also to the media and society in general.

"There is a great lack of awareness about the communication potential of YouTubers. Our goal is not so much to bring together the big names, but to highlight the variety and diversity norway phone data that exists in this YouTuber community," says Romero.

These are creators who were born in the digital age with affordable resources and great skills that have given rise to "a wealth of audiovisual formats that reach their audiences in a very precise and intimate way."

Romero also wanted to highlight the enormous interest that the call has generated not only among the public but also among the media, of which he assures, "we are seeing the curiosity that exists towards its creators, they are emerging everywhere, they are present in our culture . We want to give a little maturity and recognition to this industry."
