Twitch wants to provide greater economic stability to its creators

Post by Bappy10 »

In addition to choosing the amount of time devoted to advertising during their Twitch broadcasts, streamers will also be able to decide on the amount of time between ad breaks (from 8 minutes to 60 minutes).

Twitch's new advertising incentive program also includes an option that allows creators to receive a notification before ads are introduced into their stream, in order to allow them to adapt to the ad interruption in time. This is something that streamers have had to implement manually until now.

On the other hand, and this is undoubtedly excellent news for creators, if the lithuania number data earnings generated by the ads exceed the amount initially agreed, Twitch has committed to putting the surplus in the hands of the "streamers ". In this sense, the platform's advertising incentive program was born with the aim of ensuring a minimum and not so much limiting a maximum.

It is currently unclear whether the program will be accessible to any creator or will be made available exclusively to certain streamers.

With its new advertising incentive program, Twitch is seeking to provide a certain amount of financial stability for streamers to ensure that they receive a minimum monthly income (as long as they meet the requirements).

To avoid the (inevitably increasing) ads on Twitch, viewers will have to dig deep into their pockets and pay for individual subscriptions for their favourite channels on the platform. The most basic type of subscription on Twitch starts at 3.99 euros per month.
