Among the main proposed changes is the expansion of competition for general vacancies. Quota candidates will now have the opportunity to compete for both general and reserved vacancies. In addition, the law reserves 50% of the vacancies offered in undergraduate courses for students with family income equal to or less than one minimum wage.
The law must be evaluated and updated every ten years.
Organization of Ministries
One of the major clashes between the Legislative and Executive branches occurred during the approval process of the provisional measure that restructures the Esplanade of Ministries (MPV 1154/2023 ).
