Global Team Recruitment

Post by mstajminakter13 »

This week in a new Squads Chat we had a deep and fun conversation with the founders of Cima Staffing , where I learned great lessons about onboarding and managing remote teams. Something that really caught my attention is how they manage to identify if a candidate has more than one job , which is an immediate red flag. A key detail: if they haven't updated their LinkedIn profile, it's a strong clue. Another sign is when the candidate disappears or takes a long time to respond to emails or WhatsApp messages, often using excuses, mostly related to health or family issues. In the end, the lack of deliverables or productivity is also usually a strong indicator.

Along those lines, I loved Alejandra 's key question :

What is your career highlight and why? The answers to this question reveal both the candidate’s resilience and potential . They show you how they have faced challenges and overcome difficult times – a crucial aspect for startup roles.

When I asked them about the approach from the VC (Venture Capital) world , korea mobile phone number the answers were very enriching. We talked about how team building is as important as efficiency, something that is increasingly valued in Latam , where the opportunity is huge.

And to close, something we all agreed to emphasize was communication and transparency as keys to effective remote work. Meetings are not just about showing up with the camera on, but also about being close to the team : asking questions, being present, and above all, over-communicating .

Alejandra summed it up perfectly when she said: “Over-communicating is the key to success in remote work . ”

What are Global Teams and how are they built?

Global teams are now a must in the modern business world. **The ability to bring together talent from different parts of the world** allows companies to not only survive, but thrive in a competitive environment. Such teams promote diversity that nurtures creativity and innovation. Companies that adopt this structure can adapt more quickly to market changes and improve their competitive position. **Globalization has transformed the way we work**, and global teams are a crucial part of this transformation.
