From finding an idea to the first investment of 4 million dollars
Field and Wallace first began searching for a concept for their product. Among the many ideas, the young entrepreneurs considered drone software, a meme generator, a photo editor, and more.
They didn’t yet know what problem their product would solve, but they were sure that it should be like Google Docs – with the ability to work from any device and save all changes in the cloud.
I grew up on the Internet and saw how Google Docs revolutionized document jamaica phone number list management. I was a huge fan of it — I used it for all my school projects.

It was a graphics editor, something like Photoshop, but accessible from a browser. He made an early test product using WebGL, a platform API for visualizing 3D graphics, and showed it to Field. Both thought the idea was great, and they began to refine it.
Although the original plan was to launch a browser-based image editor, the team's focus shifted toward prototyping as work progressed. Both Field and Wallace, who had already gained experience in design, quickly realized that a browser-based image editor was more useful to those who worked with images professionally than to those who did it for fun.
In 2012, Adobe products dominated the market. As is often the case with large companies, Adobe took advantage of the lack of competition and was therefore too slow to make changes to its products. For example, Photoshop or Illustrator sorely lacked the ability to simultaneously work on the same project with a team.
Adobe doesn’t really understand collaboration. Their Adobe Creative Cloud is a cloud in name only. Design is undergoing a monumental shift. It has long ceased to be a “task at the end of the development cycle,” when services and programs were required only to provide functionality, and usability was secondary. Now it is almost the main stage of creating any product, both digital and real.
