6. How to Design a Logo in Canva
Once you’ve done some research and thumbnails, considered what type of logo would work best for your brand, refreshed your Gestalt principles and listed some fonts to use, it’s time to start designing. Here’s the step-by-step process for designing a logo in Canva.

Choose Your Color Palette
Creating a color palette will help you keep your logo on brand. Click on any part of your design to bring up the options menu above. Find the color icon and you can choose a color from the default palette or create your own. To do this, click the “+” sign under “Document Colors” to bring up the color wheel. Select the color you want and Canva will automatically provide a color code so you can incorporate the same hue into the rest of your brand. Simply click “+” again to add a new color.
