The future of DIW enterprise use, as well as the future development of IAM, will depend on the type of information and levels of access that organizations need to provide.

“significant role in everyday authentication, going beyond one-off events like registration or identity verification,” says Silverfort’s Cunningham. “By using them as an everyday authentication tool, organizations will be able to strengthen their security while improving user experience and productivity.”

He expects that, at least initially, DIWs will be used in healthcare, the public sector, benefits and border control.

Kenn Hussey, VP of Engineering at Ambassador Labs, shares some key takeaways about the future of APIs on The New Stack following the Nordic APIs Platform Summit.

The API economy is here, and so are the challenges it brings. APIs are everywhere, embedded in everything from mobile apps to IoT devices, and expectations for their use are high. However, the tools and platforms designed to tame this mess are often not up to the task.

I had the pleasure of attending the recent Nordic APIs Platform Summit in Stockholm, and it became clear to me that while the benefits of APIs are undeniable, the challenges associated with them are very real. I’d like to share a few key takeaways in the hopes that our collective attention will lead to solutions.

1. Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater
I speak from the perspective of a VP of engineering at a tech startup whose focus is primarily on the development side of the API world. But what became clear at the conference is that the belgium mobile database is overwhelmed by the promise of “one-size-fits-all” monolithic API management solutions. Over the past two years, many of these have come to look like attempts to “boil the ocean” by claiming to solve all problems in one fell swoop.

e data security teams some breathing room while they consider longer-term options, including zero trust.

“DIWs serve as an additional MFA factor, a unique identifier similar to certificate-based tokens, and a secure solution for storing sensitive data like passwords and cryptographic keys,” says Cunningham. “When used correctly, they can improve security and ease of use, and reduce the costs of supporting identity for businesses.”
