Note: The above-described technological regulations for disinfection of a protective hood apply only to protective hoods.

4.2 Technological regulations for cleaning and disinfection of devices for endoscopy of the digestive system and bronchofibroscopy

Immerse the endoscope and reusable valves in 0.23% acetyl hydroperoxide (check the concentration of the disinfectant before use to ensure its effectiveness);
Connect the perfusion catheter to each channel of the endoscope, inject 0.23% acetyl hydroperoxide into the catheter using a 50 ml syringe until full and wait 5 minutes;
Disconnect the perfusion catheter and rinse each cavity and valve of the endoscope using a special disposable brush;
Place the valves in the ultrasound generator containing the oscillation enzyme. Connect the perfusion catheter of each channel to the endoscope. Inject 0.23% acetyl hydroperoxide into the catheter using a 50 ml syringe and flush the catheter continuously for 5 minutes. Inject air for 1 minute to dry it.
Inject clean water into the catheter using a 50 ml syringe and flush the catheter continuously for 3 minutes. Inject air for 1 minute to dry it.
Perform a leak test on the endoscope;
Place it in an automated endoscope washer and disinfector. Set the disinfection level to high for processing;
(8) Send the devices to a disinfection center for sterilization with ethylene oxide.
4.3 Pretreatment of other reusable medical devices

If there are no visible contaminants, place the device in a disinfectant containing 1000 mg/L chlorine for at least 30 minutes;
If visible contaminants are present, immerse the device in a disinfectant containing 5000 mg/L chlorine for at least 30 minutes;
After drying, place the device in a sealed package and send it to a disinfection center.reusable (does not apply to disposable protective hoods).
5 Technological regulations for disinfection of infected woven materials of patients with suspected or confirmed infection

5.1 Infected textile materials

Clothing, bed linen, bedspreads and pillowcases used by patients;
Curtains for the bed in the ward;
Foot towels that are used to clean the environment.
5.2 Collection methods

First, pack the woven materials in a disposable water-soluble plastic bag and seal it tightly with zip ties;
Then pack this bag into another plastic bag, close it tightly with zip ties to make an S shape;
Finally, pack the plastic bag into a yellow cloth bag and close it tightly with zip ties;
Attach a special label containing the name of the infection and the compartment. Send the bag to the laundry.
5.3 Storage and washing

textiles (not related to COVID-19) and washed in a special washing machine;
Wash and disinfect these fabrics with a chlorine-containing disinfectant at 90 oC for at least 30 minutes.
5.4 Disinfection of vehicles

For transportation of infected textile materials, special means israel number data should be used;
These products should be disinfected immediately after each use for the purpose of transporting infected textile materials;
Vehicles should be wiped with a chlorine-containing disinfectant (with an active chlorine concentration of 1000 mg/l). Leave the disinfectant for 30 minutes, then wipe clean with clean water.
6 Technological regulations for the disposal of medical waste related to COVID-19

All waste obtained from patients with suspected or confirmed infection should be disposed of as medical waste;
Place the medical waste into a double-layer medical waste bag, seal the bag tightly with ties to form an S-shape, and spray the bag with a disinfectant containing 1000 mg/L chlorine;
Place sharp objects in a special plastic container, close the container tightly and spray the container with a disinfectant containing chlorine at a concentration of 1000 mg/l;
Place the packaged waste into a medical waste transfer container, attach a special label that contains information about the infection, close the container tightly and transfer to the appropriate place;
Move waste to the temporary storage point for medical waste along the designated route at the designated time and store waste separately in the designated place;
Collection and disposal of medical waste must be carried out by an approved medical waste disposal organization.
