21 Instagram Heading Ideas

Post by monira444 »

An Insta profile is a continuous feed, so it is not possible to divide posts into categories directly in it. However, it is quite possible to divide publications into different headings and organize convenient navigation between them. Also, when creating a content plan, posts are divided into thematic categories, as a result of which it is immediately clear how many posts are planned in each heading. All this is the rubricator.

An example of a heading in a content plan.
Directly on Instagram, the rubricator is organized using:

Post navigation. It lists the categories that are in the profile and the tags by which these categories can be found. This post is pinned;
Hashtags. They should be written in the content plan. In the example above, these could be the tags #useful_to_know, #funny, and #last_minute_tour. You can create a whole pool of tags for each category, and if a user wants to find all publications on the topic #last_minute_tour, they will click on this hashtag;
Color schemes of pictures. For each section, you can twitter data use your own color background and image style. Regular subscribers will get used to the fact that white and blue pictures are educational posts, turquoise and yellow ones are humorous, and crimson ones are selling.
Pinned stories. It makes sense to make pinned stories with links to posts and title them with the names of the sections.

Headings can also be made using images with titles - users will immediately see what topic is covered in which post. They will immediately open what they need without any unnecessary searching.

Dividing into headings not only makes the content “balanced”, but also makes it easier to find new topics. At the same time, it is not necessary to strictly adhere to the headings - sometimes you can deviate from it if there is urgent news, a promotion, an offer.

Now you can start breaking down your content plan into categories. Typically, categories are divided into the following types.

Informational. These are sections where the author shares useful information with the audience. This includes such subtypes of sections as educational, training, news;
Entertainment. Their goal is to establish contact with users and create the impression that there are not soulless robots sitting on the other side of the screen. This includes thematic memes, jokes, funny stories and cases from practice, from life;
Interactive. They involve interaction with users. Their task is to receive feedback and find out the needs of customers. Games and contests are usually included here. Also, as part of the interaction, you can make posts that imply that users will ask questions, share their opinions in the comments and write in private messages.
Reputational. First of all, these are cases and customer reviews. This also includes educational content to form an expert image;
Selling. This is any content that is directly aimed at selling a specific product or service - discounts, promotions.
