Justification of the design solution

Post by thouhidul32 »

Functionality of libraries and assembly units
Using point and curve libraries allows you to effectively set parameters for reinforcement elements telegram in philippines of the structure. However, in the presented case, they were not taken into account due to the limited performance of the equipment.

The model or assembly unit was assembled in a space where elements of point and curve libraries are combined. This gave specialists the ability to set trajectories, change the longitudinal profile of the bridge and fit vertical curves. The resulting model made it possible to create cross-sections of spans and generate specifications and drawings for design documentation. After that, it was exported to the Midas Civil calculation complex.

There is an opinion that BIM design is only about creating a visually attractive model. However, this process also includes calculations to justify the reliability of the structure, the results of which allow you to adjust design solutions and ensure the safety of future structures.

In the case presented by NPS ST experts, the purpose of the calculations was to check the operability of the BVSP structure on various types of span structures. According to Daniil Grigoriev, they completed several tasks:

We analyzed the quality of model export from Midas CIM to the Midas Civil calculation complex
Calculated the interactions between the span structure slab and the BVSP structure
We tested the reinforcement for strength and crack resistance
It is worth noting that before exporting from Midas CIM, intermediate supports and split spans were removed from the model so that only the elements necessary for the calculation remained. Also, rigid connections between the rail and the rail plate were specified in the model, and the rail fastenings were made in accordance with the regulatory documentation.

The calculations were carried out on the basis of the following documents: standards for high-speed railway lines and artificial structures, SNiP for reinforced concrete and concrete structures, bridges and pipes, as well as instructions for the construction and maintenance of high-speed railway lines.

In total, two types of loads were taken into account: for high-speed and freight trains. The results showed that significant tensile forces of up to 11 tons occur in the support zones, which can affect the strength of the BVSP structure. To solve this problem, reinforcement was strengthened.

Conclusion
As a result of the work on the project, a full-fledged parametric model was created, optimized for future use. It allows for the production of drawings and specifications, and can also be exported to the calculation complex without data loss.

The experts also noted that using a BIM model for calculations significantly simplifies the work of engineers: it is easily adapted for different types of superstructures and helps to identify the need for critical reinforcements of the ballastless track superstructure.

Let us recall that PRO TIM INFRA was held in Moscow on November 28. The event brought together leading specialists in the field of automation of design and construction of linear objects.
