Category "Complementary products"

This refers to those that are a complete product in themselves, but when added to something else they acquire greater value.

An example is cosmetics stores. Remember gift sets that combine several care items, for example, for hair or facial skin. It happens (not often, but still) that such sets include products that are practically not sold on their own.

An independent matrix can be made hotmail email list from these complementary products. Most often, they already fall into the category of main or accompanying. As for the service sector, there may not be such a category, and the question of the advisability of its implementation will arise.

Category "Polar goods"

Items with prices higher or lower than the main group of goods. They give the buyer the opportunity to choose a budget option or something more expensive (and of better quality). Here is also "room" for the sellers to work: to earn large commissions by convincing the client to make an expensive purchase, or not to miss another person by offering a lower, more attractive price.

Please note that cheap goods do not play the role of a "locomotive" here. The task of the latter is to "drag" the client into the store, and the profit from it is usually low. While a polar product with a low price sells well and provides considerable income.

Again, VIP and expensive polar goods are not the same thing. The price of a premium product is much higher than the basic one, so much so that it is noticeable. While the polar product is only slightly more expensive, so that if a person wants to, he can easily afford to buy it (instead of a cheap one).

Category "Partner Products"

This refers to products that can be combined and sold within the affiliate program not only on offline platforms, but also in regular stores. A simple example: install a mannequin in a shoe boutique, which will wear shoes from your store, and the rest of the clothes - from partners. The buyer, having chosen your pair of shoes, immediately sees samples of other items that match it and can immediately go for further purchases. And partners, for their part, will take similar measures in their own stores. And this is not the only way to establish profitable cooperation.

Examples of product matrices can be very different. They are built on the basis of many indicators that require constant adjustment. Moreover, the management of the product matrix should be approached very thoughtfully. Remember that a wide range of products puts the client before a choice, and it is not always in your favor and may be contrary to the company's goals.
