IT companies began implementing tools for website personalization several years ago. Their goal is to bring the advantages of offline stores to online shopping. In a traditional store, there are sales consultants who provide individual customer service. They can offer the most popular product in a given category; tell about discounts and promotions; warn that this item may soon run out; help choose related products.

The same and more can be done online. Serhat Soyuerel, founder of the marketing platform Insider, told theRunet how personalization of a website helps increase conversion rates for online stores.
