What if your content suddenly disappeared?

John Mueller explains what Google means by quality content on SEO Office Hours (October 22, 2021) : “When it comes to content quality, we don’t just mean the text of your articles, we mean the quality of your website as a whole. And that includes everything from the layout of your website to its design. Like how you present things on your pages, how you work with images, how you improve loading speed - all of these factors are taken into account here in some way.” “
So it’s not like we just look at the text of the article and ignore everything else around it and say, Hmm, that’s really good text. We’re actually assessing the website as a whole.”

When Google assesses the quality of content, it doesn't just look at the text, as many of us would expect, but also includes images, layout, the way individual elements are presented, loading switzerland email list speed, and other factors, some of which relate to the user experience and the way we communicate information to the website visitor.
