Using a concrete case for Oxfam Novib

Post by Bappy10 »

What do you mean, a gap? Doesn't social media actually bring us closer together? Closer to the target group? It is known that on average you only reach 17% of your fans on Facebook, but what does this 17% say? Who are they and what happened to the other 83% of your fans? In this blog we are not going to unravel an EdgeRank algorithm, but rather focus on the underlying problem: social media create a gap between you and your target group. How can you close this gap?

my former colleagues and brazil mobile phone number list have investigated to what extent this gap exists and how we can close it. Because of the case, I will delve deeper into the non-profit sector. On a more abstract level, however, I see the same gap emerging among brands and organizations in other sectors.

Multi-issue organizations
As a multi-issue organisation, Oxfam Novib is active in many different subjects, projects and countries. Subjects that the organisation also wants to bring to light with social media marketing. But to what extent are the fans involved per subject? Are they equally involved in all issues, or are there differences? The Facebook account must provide the entire fan base, with their support for different issues. A quick look at the Facebook page shows a difference in interaction per post. Time to zoom in on that.
