Public opinion of Mark Zuckerberg is overwhelmingly unfavourable. 54% of people say they have a more or less negative opinion of the founder of Facebook. Zuckerberg is particularly disliked by baby boomers. 62% view Zuckerberg with suspicion and only 16% have a favourable opinion of him.

In the presentation of his company's rebranding, Zuckerberg also introduced the concept of the luxembourg number data "metaverse ," a universe where the boundaries separating the real world from the virtual world will be blurred and where it will be possible to imitate face-to-face interactions in an incredibly realistic way.

As promising as Zuckerberg's "metaverse" sounds on paper, the concept is more likely to be met with suspicion than anything else among the general public. 68% of people say they have no interest in the project. Although unfavourable opinions of the "metaverse" are prevalent across all demographic groups, they are particularly strong among women (73%) and baby boomers.

While 36% of adults see the Meta name as a way to freshen up the Facebook brand, most believe the rebranding is primarily a response to the company's desire to distance itself from the controversies and scandals it has seen in recent years.
