Ad blockers are causing a lot of pain to platforms like YouTube , whose main source of income is, after all, advertising. Fed up with the copious “bleeding” of its revenue caused by the ubiquitous ad blockers, Google’s video platform has decided to start a war against them.

A few weeks ago, YouTube began to display warning messages to list of hong kong cell phone numbers users who accessed its platform by relying on "ad blockers" (with the ultimate goal of urging them to deactivate them).

Users will no longer be able to watch more than three videos on YouTube if they do not disable ad blockers
Such warning messages were part of an experiment undertaken by YouTube that was carried out only among a small number of users. However, aware perhaps that such messages were not sufficiently forceful, the Google subsidiary has decided to launch a somewhat more aggressive experiment to force the blocking of "ad blockers" on its domains.

According to several users on Reddit , YouTube is reportedly confronting some of its users with notices informing them that ad blockers are not authorized and that video playback will stop working if such programs are not uninstalled.
