A smaller touch target gives rise to the “fat finger syndrome”. The user instead of converting may end up abandoning your

website if it is unable to complete the desired action on mobile devices.

As a general rule, any clickable button on your mobile website should be at least 44×30px. Mobile devices are not the preferred user input medium. If you are asking for email signups, make sure that the input field is large enough for users to click with the touch of a finger and that the input form has a flow that offers minimal friction for the user.

3. Limit the size of the mobile popup
A pop-up banner at the bottom of the screen that doesn’t cover the main content of the web page is a popular strategy for incorporating pop-ups into your landing page. Because it doesn’t cover the main content of the website that’s above the fold, it doesn’t violate Google’s specifications.

It is also less obstructive to users than a full-page modal popup. The only challenge in incorporating this popup strategy is that you have a limited amount of space available to provide enough value to convert your customers.

Since the popup is smaller, it can elude the user's attention. Also, smaller input fields can be a challenge medical mail list for users who want to subscribe to your list.

4. Don't bombard the user with popups
Popups that appear as soon as a user lands on your web page are an immediate turn-off. Embed them so that they activate later in the user's journey, once they've had a chance to consume the content first. Don't let the pop-up appear immediately or within a few seconds of the visitor arriving.

Another viable strategy is to display the popup on the second page visited by the user. This way you do not violate Google guidelines and because the user has had enough time to consume valuable content, the chances of conversion are also higher.

5. Understand intent and provide value
Popups that offer value make the user click on them voluntarily. Such pop-ups integrate into the user journey through your mobile website and also ensure a seamless user experience.
