Depending on the place where the work activity is carried out, we can identify different types of teleworking:

Home telework: as you might guess from the name, this is telework done from the comfort of your own home. Convenience, of course, but it also involves several challenges that make it essential to have the right tools. Clearly, you will need to have the equipment needed to maintain effective communication with your employer.
Mobile teleworking: mainly concerns some categories of workers such as sales agents or representatives, i.e. those who do not carry out their activity in a fixed location, but in the customers' locations and through the use of devices such as smartphones or computers.
Satellite telecommuting: Also known as remote telecommuting, this is where workers go to a dedicated location, owned by the company they work for or by external companies.
Office-To-Office Telecommuting: In this telecommuting modality, workers are located in a traditional office, but are part of a group of employees who are located in different parts of the world.
Virtual company: what characterizes virtual companies is the type of teleworking that has become more widespread since 2020. Virtual companies do not have a physical location, they have an effective communication belgium email list network that allows all parties to work effectively and can reduce fixed costs and the difficulties inherent to fixed locations.

Teleworking: How does it work?
In practice, the employee carries out his/her work according to one of the teleworking methods we discussed in the previous paragraph, in a location other than the company one.

Even though it is not located in the company headquarters, the activity is still fixed and supported by tools that allow communication with the company, colleagues and any external parties.

But if today all this seems more than normal to us, before the Covid-19 pandemic, teleworking was a way of organizing employees that definitely struggled to take hold.
