Brand Benefits

Let’s go back to the Nike example. The literal benefit of buying a Nike product is that the customer now owns a pair of running shoes, but the benefit that the brand gives them is far greater than owning a product, or using a service. When someone owns a Nike product, they gain the benefit of being associated with that brand . They can now be seen as a serious athlete, someone interested in having the best equipment to perform the best possible physical exercise.
The benefit of a brand can be something much phone number list tangible. For example, someone who owns a Volvo gets the benefit of a safe car journey, as these vehicles are recognised as being among the safest in the world. People who carry the popular (and very expensive) BKR water bottle get to care for the environment and their health without giving up a certain level of luxury. What each brand does in each of these examples is make a promise to create a type of experience, and once the consumer has access to this, the brand benefits become quite apparent. It is these benefits that keep the consumer coming back and buying.
In other words: What will your audience receive if they interact with your brand ? We are not talking about products or services, but rather the type of association they will benefit from (a feeling, reputation, or a more tangible benefit). For example, if your audience makes a donation to a cause that your brand supports, what will be the impact of that act? What will be the return on your investment? What do you want your audience to feel after interacting with your brand?
