CDA: Empty promises bingo

Post by arzina998 »

GreenLeft: Jesse Klaver was live
From AFAS Live, GroenLinks held a 'meetup' and broadcasted it live on Facebook. In addition to the fact that there were 5,000 people in the former Heineken Music Hall, the live session on Facebook attracted no less than 220,000 viewers. One of the largest Facebook livestreams I have seen.

The CDA was not invited to the EenVandaag debate, which was therefore only between Rutte and Wilders. The CDA responded to this by means of an online activation: The Angry & Empty Promises Bingo . During the debate, you could cross off empty promises from both gentlemen. You could then share the 'Bingo!' via Facebook and Twitter. No, not via WhatsApp indeed.

50PLUS: HeliHenk
The leader of 50PLUS travels through the hospitals email database country in style in a helicopter. He flies past various cities to promote his party, nice Henk. But even nicer is the hashtag: #HeliHenk that quickly became trending. Not all tweets are positive, but they are hilarious.

In conclusion, the digital campaigns that come from parties are not very surprising. While in the digital field probably most votes can be won. Young people see your campaigns online sooner than during the commercial break of the Carré debate.

You might wonder why brands are even involved in politics. The answer is simple: social responsibility. All high-profile campaigns are aimed at young people. And that's not surprising, considering 1 million young people don't go to the polls. That's why it's extra important that brands like Ben & Jerry's and VICE, or influencers like Lubach and Hofman commit to making politics simpler, less elitist and more for young people. That said, I think it's time for an <28 party, aimed at young people and that only conducts digital marketing! What a great idea, who's in?
