Maybe the fact that your mother doesn't comment on your blog is not a reliable criterion that reflects the real quality of your contributions. But it should make you think. If you are desperate for your readers to comment on your blog and are looking for answers, you will probably find some of them in this post.

First of all, I have to admit that my mother doesn't comment on my blog either. Although I don't like to use excuses , in this case I can say that she has never browsed a website in her entire life. I will probably show her the blog again soon so she can read this post and I will tell her that she can show off next time when she is with her friends because her son is among the top marketing blogs in Spain (forgive the self-promotion but mothers like these things).

Getting comments on blogs

Why is feedback important?

Back to the topic of the post. Even though “commenting” only journalists email list appears in a moderate ROI interaction field, it is important that your readers interact with your post. If you are a blogger, it is one of the first things you should work on. Seeing the few comments on my last posts, I have to get a bit more into this task. Here are some reasons to work on it.

1. Comments reflect life on a blog. They give an idea whether a post is worth reading or not. They motivate a new visitor to stay.

2. They allow bloggers to receive feedback on their ideas and advice. They are a source of inspiration for new posts.

3. They create the basis for moving up to the “follow” interaction field . In many cases, reaching this level of reader loyalty involves the comments field.

There are a number of factors that can influence the likelihood of receiving feedback. I have compiled a few of them.
