7. Run the CHKDSK command

Running the CHKDSK command checks your hard drive for errors that may be causing high disk usage.

Right-click the Start button and select Terminal Admin .
When prompted, click Yes to allow administrative access.


In the Terminal window, make sure you are on the Command Prompt tab.
Enter the following command and press Enter:chkdsk f


When prompted to schedule a scan, type Yand press Enter.
Restart your computer to run CHKDSK.


8. Set up a metered internet connection
Setting up a metered connection can prevent Windows bangladesh telegram data from automatically downloading updates, potentially reducing disk usage.

Open Settings by clicking Windows+I.
Click Network & Internet on the left sidebar.


Select Wi-Fi or Ethernet depending on your connection type.


Click on your network name.


Set the traffic measurement switch to the "On" position .


This will limit background data usage and may reduce high disk activity.
