Founded in the fall of 2021 by Queer professionals, Queer Capita’s mission is to unite the Queer workforce in music, amplify the collective impact of our members through compelling partnerships, create new pathways for Queer students and aspiring professionals to work in the music industry, and advocate for the career growth and advancement of our members.
A Club Called Rhonda
Paying homage to dance music’s radical, queer roots runs deep at A Club Called Rhonda , while effortlessly educating party-goers remains part of its purpose. Community Bread
Community Bread is a queer-owned livestream and resource platform that connects audiences around the world with marginalized artists so they can easily receive donations to offset economic hardships during this global pandemic. They’ve raised over $20,000 in support of over 50 international artists including DJ Minx, Jasmine Infiniti, and CEM, and charities including Trans Women of Color Collective , The Ali Forney Center , ORAM , GLITS ., and The Trevor Project .
Additionally, Community Bread features over 25 LGBTQ+ and POC nightlife collectives that have been instrumental in building their local music and arts scenes, from Eternal Dragonz in Singapore to Bulto in Colombia. They offer a directory of resources and financial opportunities for artists, venues, and businesses, as well as avenues for action to fight social and economic injustices. // Get involved here .
