Ok, we have to take this guru with a pinch of salt.

With a big pinch.

Ben Suarez made his first big money with "Make-Money-From-Home" promises.

The classic circular argument: promise people you'll make money. Make money doing it.

Today his advertising would be classified as a "scam".

Ben Suarez
In his advertising texts he promises things like:

"With my system you can earn money at the speed of light..."

Seriously?

Today, such an advertisement hungary telegram screening would be confiscated by the competition authorities.

But as I said, back then you could get away with it.

In his defense, he did at least use the money to build a halfway decent direct marketing company. Today, he no longer sells "get-rich-quick" rubbish, but runs a marketing company.

On the other hand, Suarez was sentenced to 15 months in prison for influencing witnesses.

Oh well.

If you put all that aside, you can learn a lot from him about how to make a promise so good that even a monk will be weak.

If you're wondering who all the "make-money gurus" are copying from, here's the answer:

Ben Suarez.

You can read his advertisement here.

If you understand the principles behind it, you'll find a lot you can apply to your copywriting - without the shoddy techniques, of course.
