Reflection from the digital agency

Hello from the digital agency that these days works connected in different homes in Bogotá, Santa Marta and Madrid (Spain).
A week ago my concern was meeting sales and billing goals for Asisomos digital agency. I was under pressure to close some new accounts for the company. I went from one appointment to another, often without a break, without taking a breath and reflecting on aspects that most of us overlook in our fast-paced day. Suddenly everything stopped.
In our digital environment, where everything is fast-paced, everything is measured and we all seek results, we become a little distant and indifferent. We are so committed to sales goals that we forget about the goals that really matter.
This week the planet told us: "Stop now" as if it were a call to see how fragile we are, a message to make us understand that it is useless to achieve work goals if we cannot breathe.
We have a very simple opportunity, stay at home, don't go out, don't have social contact for a few days.

Teleworking is presented to us as an option to keep the luxembourg whatsapp data economy going. For people who work in digital marketing, advertising, web design and related areas, this is nothing strange; it is already part of our work culture. But I was thinking about people who depend on the street to earn their living, or those who necessarily have to work to earn a daily wage on which their family depends.
The truth is that I have not been able to keep my head at peace. I think of so many people who are in need of help right now, of the anguish they must feel at being forced to go out and expose themselves to the virus. Their options: go out and run the risk of infection or stay home watching their families suffer.
In this brief post, which I hope reaches you in some way, I just want to invite you to take care of yourself, stay at home, but also if at any time you have the opportunity to help, do not hesitate to do so. Right now there are many people suffering, wondering how they are going to eat something if they cannot work.
If you can help, do it. At the end of the day, that's what this is all about: becoming a society again, working as a team, understanding that if my neighbor is okay, I'll be safer.
Friends, go to your shelters and enjoy these days with your family. We can have conversations with our closest loved ones, read a book, take an online course, watch a series, but please stay home and breathe. We will have time to run again.
