Once the pre-sales stage is complete, the actual sales process begins .

The B2B sales process begins with a qualified lead (generated at the pre-sales stage or as a result of other marketing activities), and ends with the closing of the transaction by, for example, signing an order, a cooperation agreement, issuing an invoice, or making a purchase in an online store. The method of finalizing the transaction depends on the specifics of the given industry.

Additionally, it should be noted that our sales process must be adapted to the buying process of our customer . The key is how our B2B customer buys , not how we want to sell.

That is why it is so important to map the customer's buying process , its next steps bc data and the procedures to be followed in each of these steps.

Below we will discuss the next steps that a salesperson takes to close a sale . Remember, however, that this is a sequence of actions from the point of view of our actions. However, they must be appropriately placed in the next steps of our client's purchasing process.

Needs analysis
Once we have contacts with specific buyers who are interested in learning the details of our offer, it is time to attempt to complete the transaction.

In the B2B sales process, a key stage is therefore the proper conduct of a needs analysis . Of course, this is a very individual task that must be adapted adequately to the industry and specifics of the activity of both the buyer persona and us as the offeror.
