In other words, the author's CV also becomes important to evaluate the credibility of the content, especially on 'sensitive' topics such as those of the Your Money or Your Life pages . Ok Robi, but I have a blog that talks about fishing rods. I'll stop you right now. The concept of competence is not limited to professional experiences and recognitions.

Google specifies, in fact, that even pages relating to a complete list of unit phone data hobbies (e.g. photography, playing the guitar) require a certain level of expertise, which is clearly not measured with the same standards used to define expertise in the medical field! Quoting the Quality Guidelines: Some topics require less formal expertise. Many people write extremely detailed and helpful reviews about products and restaurants or share advice and life experiences on forums, blogs, etc.

These ordinary people can be considered competent in topics of which they have life experience . If it appears that the person creating the content has a long life experience that makes it possible to consider them competent on the topic, we will value this “everyday experience” and will not penalize the person/webpage/website for not having a “formal” education or specific preparation on that topic. It is clear, however, that the more you write about a topic, the more competent you will become in the eyes of the search engine.
