How much attention should I pay to my blog readers?

Post by Abdur12 »

The reader is an important source for generating new ideas for your blog. The million-dollar question is to what extent you should always pay attention to them.

I recently talked about putting yourself in the reader's shoes to publish the best posts . The article received more feedback than usual. Although it was not the most notable in terms of comments, I even received emails from readers giving me their point of view on the matter.

One phrase that caught my attention was that “your blog is jio number list not yours but your readers’” so you have to write for them. Not everyone was 100% in agreement with this phrase.

I write this blog to feel good. Sometimes blogging can be a kind of therapy for the author. The main goal is to provide value to the reader. Obviously, that is better achieved on some days than on others.

Feedback from readers who comment does not necessarily represent the average of your audience.
I recently received an email from a reader thanking me for the posts on my blog because they had helped him to resolve some doubts in the past. At the same time he mentioned that I had been talking too much about my own projects lately. It is true that I have perhaps saturated this space too much with the experiences I have had these last few days. It is normal that doubts arise in these moments. Am I going too far with self-promotion?

At the same time, I have received feedback in the past from other readers who valued my first-hand stories. It was precisely my own experience shared in my posts that they valued so much about my blog. So who do I listen to now?
