A big impact on web professionals

Post by samiaseo222 »

The measures taken by Apple towards this tool will certainly impact the digital domain. Being the most used tool by web professionals, Google Analytics offers many features including the monitoring of the performance of websites.

According to StatCounter statistics, out of panama email list five browsing sessions in France, one is done on the Safari browser. Across all devices, the latter has an estimated market share of 19.8% in May 2020. Although Google Chrome is at the top of the ranking, Safari still does well especially on mobile. Indeed, StatCounter claims that 28.7% of mobile sessions in France were done on Safari in May 2020.

In light of this, it is clear that blocking Google Analytics on the Safari browser will have a significant impact on web professionals. The latter, who use it to track the traffic and revenue of their websites, will now be deprived of 20% of the data collected. It is important to note that the blocking measures may be applied at the start of the school year, which corresponds to the period when the giant Apple launches new products (annual WWDC conference). For the moment, Apple has refrained from commenting on this subject.
