Then choose a relevant anchor text for each page

Also in terms of link topicality it is important that the growth in the number of links that refer to a page should appear natural. You can organize this as follows:

Choose a number of pages you want to link to. For example, because you want to share the information on this page the most, or choose the top 10 most visited pages of your website.

Schedule the links, taking into account the maximum number of links per week recommended above.
Make sure you plan for about half a year ahead, so you can just keep working and the number of links can increase regularly. I recommend updating and adding to the top 10 to top 25 content items every six months, so that the page remains relevant in the future and regularly receives new backlinks in a natural way.
Adding 5 links to the same page is therefore less easy to maintain at the same pace than adding links spread over several pages. And that is at odds with the idea that the more links are placed to a certain page, the more relevant the content on that page is likely to be.

By adding the links in doses over the pages that you find relevant, the pace is easier to maintain. The freshness score that the page from which the link comes has, has an influence on the value that this link gets. A link from an old, static page that has not been visited by the Google crawlers for a long time because no new content has been placed on it, has less effect than a link from a page where a lot of content is added. This is called FreshRank .

5. Spam score
It is important to check the total number of us phone number list links, the number of links per page and the quality of the links on a regular basis. You can do this based on the so-called spam score of the backlinks. A frequently used tool to find out the spam score is the Open Site Explorer from Moz. This tool gives a good visual representation of which backlinks refer to your site and what the spam score of the different links is. It is a good goal to have mainly links with a green spam score and to have links that no longer have this at a certain point, removed.

If the administrator of the website in question runs through the spam score of the backlinks every quarter, it becomes clear which links have a negative spam score. The administrator can then make the choice to remove unwanted links. In addition, the administrator can of course check whether the number of links per page continues to grow sufficiently. In this way, the entire process is manageable and you ensure that you mainly have backlinks that make a positive contribution to the assessment of your own site by the search engines.
